NAHKO + MEDICINE FOR THE PEOPLE

One of the great songwriter/poets of his generation, Nahko is an American folk/rock musician who sings songs of activism, protest, love and the human spirit. In meetings with the client and upon visiting his residence, it was mutually agreed upon that the artist's own personal effects and writing would be used to express the soul of the music. By collecting, painting, photographing , pestering, and scanning, beautiful collages were formed to represent songs and ideas, with both parties sometimes making direct and indirect contributions to the whole.
